The church plant is spacious and very light. The church dates from 1958, was modern in design and is a Grade II listed building. It seats 300 people. At first sight the interior design is at odds with an evangelical churchmanship and may even seem bizarre. Some find the scheme reflects a sense of majesty and celebration. All grow to accept it for what it is and become blind to its eccentricity.
There is a large church centre consisting of a kitchen, main hall with stage and seven meeting rooms, some of which are separated by folding screens allowing them to be opened to form larger spaces. Two additional rooms on the first floor are let to the 40:3 Trust (Evangelistic agency led by Ian Knox) and a room is let to David Spriggs, Head of Church Relations with the Bible Society. The church centre has good parking and is easily accessible from the A45, A46 and city centre.
Enquiries relating to booking the facilities for use should be addressed to the Church Wardens.
